Oil drain device DIN 42551 (NW22-NW31-NW40) / EN 50216-4
Din 42551 oil drain devices are mounted on the oil type transformer boiler by welding. It is used to drain the oil from the transformer boiler or to take oil samples from the boiler. It can be connected to DIN 42551 F Oil drain mechanism.
Oil drain devices comply with Din 42551 and EN 50216-4 and are available in 3 different sizes.
- Din 42551 – (NW 22 / A22)
- Din 42551 – (NW 31 / A31)
- Din 42551 – (NW40 / A40)
The body is made of st37 steel, the valve cover is made of cast Iron (GG20) . The cover can also be produced in A4 stainless steel optionally. The locking plug is made of brass. Three types are available for sealing,
- Din 42551 A – Standard Metal-to-metal sealing
- Religion 42551 OR – O-ring
- Din 42551 C – Conic
